WCHSA Fall Conference

WCHSA Fall 2022 Conference
WCHSA invites county human service department staff, county human service board members, and service providers to attend the WCHSA Fall 2022 conference at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Stevens Point. The theme of the conference is reuniting and reconnecting for the future. The conference will feature presentations on topics affecting the operations of human service programs in the areas of economic support, long term support, behavioral health and children and family services.
The conference starts at Noon on December 1 with a banquet the evening of 12/1 and finishes at Noon on December 2nd. The conference includes speakers on human service topics and break-out sessions featuring county presentations on local services.

For human service directors and deputy directors, there is a pre-conference leadership development session on 11/30 that will cover managing agency operations in a challenging political environment and other topics.
Separate registration is required for the leadership development session. There is no fee for human service directors and deputy directors to attend the leadership development session.
The monthly WCHSA Board meeting for human service directors and partners will be on the morning of 12/1 from 9:30 to 12:00. The WCHSA Board meeting will include the annual business meeting for the association.

Tentative Conference Schedule:
11/30 Leadership development session for human service directors from 3-5 pm at Holiday Inn in Stevens Point. Additional registration required.
12/1 WCHSA Board and annual business meeting from 9:30 -12:00. In person meeting at Holiday Inn in Stevens Point with remote attendance option.
12/1 WCHSA Fall Conference day 1 starting at 12:00 with lunch and banquet dinner.
12/2 WCHSA Fall Conference day 2 ending at 12:00
